Retail media is an exciting New Media format for Brands and uh it’s been around for some time but over the last few years accelerated significantly in adoption started out with Amazon being the first to use their consumer data their product purchase data more precisely to help Brands precisely deliver ads with product content in them and then of course every retailer thought hey we could do that too and it’s since grown to be a very very large form of uh advertising a retail media network is essentially it could be a retailer so think of it as a retailer who is starting a media business right powered by their data and offering it up for Brands to advertised but a retail media Network could also be companies like door Dash standard delivery companies really any company that has product purchase data that they can then offer in the form of media for Brands to purchase.
