What commerce media challenges does DaVinci Commerce address?

So DaVinci Commerce essentially addresses uh some of the challenges that have come about uh due to the use of commerce media and commerce media essentially is media offered by uh many retailers and commerce platforms and so on. It has a lot of benefits because the data is much much more more precise. It’s shopping data for consumers at a very detailed level. But it also has some drawbacks because uh many many retailers offer it, many commerce platforms offer it, but unfortunately there’s not much standardization across those retailers and commerce platforms. And because these ads often run on the retailer site, uh it has to sort of have a more native look and feel to the site and so therefore every site is different and the formats are different and so on. uh most of the commerce platforms and retailers also have many different channels that they run whether it’s display ads or search ads or on-site ads off-site in their stores and so on. Uh and so if you think of a brand having to run across so many different retailers and commerce networks uh that increases the workload significantly and it increases in two areas primarily. One is uh creating ads and content. Right now you have to create ads and content for each retailer because their specs are are different. Uh most retailers also have clear and strict guidelines on what you can and cannot run or what you can and cannot say in an ad. So that’s that creates a lot of extra work for a brand. And then the other is workflows, right? So some retailers have highly automated workflows where you can you know via API or tools run your ads, create your ads, run your ads. Others require managed service workflows where you have to send your creative files over and they will have to modify it and change it and so on. So and sometimes a combination of manual and automated. So for some formats it’s automated, for others it’s manual. So for a brand trying to run retail media campaigns across multiple commerce media networks, it it all of these become hurdles and create either a lot of expense or a lot of internal costs as more resources are needed to make it work.
