Our Leadership Team
Diaz Nesamoney
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Diaz Nesamoney is an accomplished technology entrepreneur who founded three successful technology companies, all harnessing the power of data to power enterprise and consumer applications.
Currently Diaz is Founder and CEO of DaVinci Commerce, a company that provides an end-to-end agentic commerce experience platform enabling consumers to discover, experience and purchase brand products across the entire agentic commerce journey. He was previously Co-founder, President, and Chief Operating Officer at Informatica (NASDAQ:INFA), which he took from a startup to a publicly traded company in 1999. Informatica pioneered data integration software as a category and was acquired by Salesforce for $8 billion in November, 2025.
Before founding DaVinci Commerce, he founded Celequest and served as its CEO until early 2007, when the company was acquired by Cognos/IBM. Celequest introduced the market’s first business intelligence and analytics appliance, a disruptive innovation that led to its acquisition.
Diaz holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India and is the holder of seven technology patents. Diaz is also the author of the first book on using data and technology to personalize digital advertising.
Jaimie Villacarlos
Chief Growth and Partnerships Officer
Jaimie Villacarlos is Chief Growth and Partnerships Officer, with responsibility in product roadmap while managing key customer and partner requirements for incorporation into the roadmap. Her work was instrumental in helping DaVinci Commerce formulate and bring to life the company’s new product, DaVinci Agentic Commerce Experience Platform Commerce. In addition to product strategy, Jaimie’s responsibility also includes prioritizing partner strategy, with a focus in aligning product integrations with strategic technology partners. Jaimie has an 18-year tenure with DaVinci Commerce and worn multiple hats including marketing, global client services, tech solutions, and global partnerships. She is based in San Mateo, California.
Anna Luo
Chief Marketing and Customer Innovation Officer
Anna Luo is passionate about introducing cutting-edge technologies to enterprise customers – putting them on the path of increased competitiveness, accelerated growth, and improved compliance. She has over two decades of marketing experience, most of which she has spent driving across-functional collaboration to scale startups and contributing to successful exits via IPO and acquisition.
At DaVinci Commerce, she implements growth marketing to experiment with strategy and tactics, test audiences and discover new market opportunities. Building an AI-powered growth team, she balances AI automation and human judgement to optimize and scale growth. Anna’s marketing leadership role spans real-time data/streaming analytics and cyber security, including Sentilla, provider of predictive analytics for physical, virtual and cloud infrastructures; Coral8, a startup developing complex event processing platform based on Project STREAM from Stanford University; Vidder (software defined security). Her full-time and consulting role in other companies included Counterpane Internet Security (acquired by BT), TIBCO, a leader in event-driven platform that went public in 1999, and CTB/McGraw Hill, where she spearheaded an online ideation and networking program to improve customer experience and retention for a $35-million online assessment product.
Anna is an endurance athlete and has competed at the Long Course Aquabike National and World Championships as a member of Team USA. Between her career and racing, she finds time to mentor young professionals. Anna is a contributing author for Forbes Communications Council. She holds a Master of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Berkeley.
Leo Yen
Chief Financial Officer
Leo Yen is responsible for directing the financial operations of DaVinci Commerce, with a broad experience in international tax structuring and planning, fundraising, mergers & acquisitions, and regulatory and statutory law compliance. Leo has served as CFO for a publicly-traded U.S. company based in the Silicon Valley as well as interim and acting CFO for private companies and startups. Previously, he held senior positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young, where he directed the tax consulting accounts of emerging and established technology companies as well as finance, real estate and biotech clients.
A CPA in the state of California, Leo holds two bachelor’s degrees from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona where he majored in finance, accounting, real estate and law.
Claudia Rafello
Chief People Officer
As Chief People Officer, Claudia leads our global People & Culture strategy, ensuring that our workplace is one where employees can thrive, grow, and feel valued. She is passionate about building a people-first culture that fosters engagement, attracts and develops top talent, and sustains a strong foundation for innovation and business success.
With deep expertise in global talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development (L&D), total rewards, and organizational strategy, she has played a key role in shaping and scaling the People & Culture function. Under her leadership, the company has expanded its workforce across five global offices, strengthening recruitment, retention, and the overall employee experience.
Beyond talent and culture, she has been instrumental in compensation planning and benefits management, ensuring competitive and equitable rewards to attract and retain top talent. She also manages workplace operations and companywide events, including corporate and sales initiatives, creating an environment where employees are supported both professionally and operationally.
Prior to DaVinci Commerce, she was part of the founding team at Celequest, working alongside Founder and CEO, Diaz Nesamoney to scale the business, define the culture, and empower people leading to its successful acquisition by Cognos and later IBM.
Her leadership philosophy is simple: “adaptability opens doors, and a positive attitude keeps them open”. She believes that embracing change with resilience, optimism, and a willingness to grow is what truly sets individuals and organizations apart.
Vinay Anvesh
Senior Vice President, Customer Solutions
Vinay Anvesh is a seasoned customer solutions and digital advertising leader with over 13 years of experience helping brands leverage technology, data, and personalization to drive business growth. As Senior Vice President, Customer Solutions at DaVinci Commerce, Vinay leads customer solution strategy, platform adoption, and value realization, partnering closely with customers, sales, product, and engineering teams to deliver AI-powered commerce and marketing solutions.
Since joining DaVinci Commerce, Vinay has held leadership roles across Client Services, Services Delivery, Product Operations, and Account Management. He has helped enterprise brands scale personalization and digital advertising programs, advance BrandStore adoption, and realize greater value from AI-powered commerce solutions. He also champions the use of Generative AI and automation to improve customer outcomes and operational efficiency.
Prior to DaVinci Commerce, Vinay worked at Accenture, supporting digital advertising initiatives for YouTube’s Australia and New Zealand business. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology and Marketing and has completed executive education in Entrepreneurship through IIM Kozhikode.
Rushanthini Subramaniam
Senior Vice President, Customer Success
As Senior Vice President of Customer Success, Rushanthini has been instrumental in growing and managing the customer success team at DaVinci Commerce. She oversees a global team of Customer Success directors across the US, UK and India. Her team ensures that customers’ personalization goals are met and their maturity in Dynamic Content Optimization grows year on year, leading them to the path to omnichannel personalization.
Rushanthini joined DaVinci Commerce in 2019 as part of the Customer Success & Client Strategy team and rose to lead the APAC Customer Success team a year later managing a list of Global 500 companies. Prior to DaVinci Commerce, Rushanthini worked with Internet companies Directi and Securifi as a core member in their Business Development function.
Rushanthini holds an MBA from the prestigious Indian School of Business and a Bachelors in technology from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappali.
Bharati Makhijani
Executive Vice President, Product Management
Bharati Makhijani is an emerging leader in the advertising technology industry with over 6 years of experience donning multiple hats within the enterprise SaaS software sector. As Executive Vice President of Product Management at DaVinci Commerce, Bharati is responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of the company’s product roadmap. She works closely with the executive team and our customers to ensure we deliver innovative solutions that drive business success. Bharati and her team were instrumental to the rapid delivery of the company’s agentic brandstore and commerce media products to market.
Previously at DaVinci Commerce, Bharati was Senior Director, Global Customer Onboarding, where she built and managed a global team of Tech Solutions engineers and Activation Specialists to advance DaVinci Commerce’s self-service customer onboarding efforts. Prior to that, she was part of the Customer Success & Client Strategy team, working with key enterprise customers and helping them achieve their personalization goals. Bharati holds an MBA from the prestigious Indian School of Business and a B.E. in Electronics and M.Sc. in Economics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India
Kashyap Gajera
Executive Vice President, Engineering
Kashyap is responsible for managing the engineering team at DaVinci Commerce. In his role, he oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, providing leadership and guidance to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and objectives. Kashyap also plays a key role in building and developing the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. He works closely with other DaVinci Commerce departments to align engineering efforts with the overall company goals.
Since joining in 2017, Kashyap has made significant contributions in data engineering, leading the development of real-time data integration pipelines and revamping event processing and reporting systems. His expertise has been instrumental in driving upsell revenue through innovative platform upgrades, and his leadership is pivotal in steering the engineering team towards the future of AI-driven Personalized Commerce Marketing. Kashyap holds a B.E. in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Goa, India.
Nick Cherry
Executive Vice President, Global Customer Operations
Nick leads Customer Operations at DaVinci Commerce, which includes Customer Success, Client Services, Product Operations, and Technical Solutions– the teams responsible for onboarding new customers, implementing new campaigns, and delivering world class customer support.
Nick is passionate about driving operational excellence in the context of hyper growth and a rapidly evolving industry. He has worked in Digital Marketing for nearly 25 years, including 5+ year stretches at AOL, Google, and Criteo leading global operations. He also held leadership roles at three pioneering startups. He started this career at Advertising.com, where he worked several years prior to its acquisition by AOL and went on to play a pivotal role in developing AOL’s Platform Strategy. After AOL, Nick joined Teracent, a first generation Dynamic Creative Optimization company. Nick led Product and Operations at Teracent until its acquisition by Google, where he worked to integrate the Teracent technology and teams into their Platform and Media businesses. Finally, after leading Global Operations teams at Google and Criteo for the previous 10 years, Nick served as COO at Radiance Commerce, a Conversational AI Company that was acquired by Bloomreach. Nick is based in San Mateo, CA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Georgetown University.
Taran Singh
Chief Technology Officer
Taran is a seasoned engineering leader with over a decade of experience building enterprise software. As Chief Technology Officer, Taran leads DaVinci Commerce AI Labs, the company’s R&D vertical focused on AI and owns the long-term technical strategy to ensure the platform is well positioned for the future.
Since joining in 2020, Taran has been instrumental in building, revamping and scaling core backend and ML capabilities including the company’s proprietary recommendation engine, while driving modernization of the tech stack across the product. Over the years, he has been a key figure in helping the organization navigate the rapidly evolving commerce and advertising landscape – from conceptualizing cookie-less personalization to the early days of Generative AI and Agentic Commerce, working closely with stakeholders and industry partners throughout. He has played a central role in the platform’s transition to becoming AI-native and spearheaded the rollout of Agentic BrandStore, an innovative new product line representing a significant new revenue stream for DaVinci Commerce.
Prior to joining DaVinci Commerce, Taran held engineering roles at SapientNitro, Talentica Software and Quaero, gaining broad software development experience across large enterprises and early-stage startups, with a deep focus on e-commerce and AdTech. Taran holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar.
Ash Lilani
Ash Lilani is Founder and Managing Partner of Saama, one of India’s leading venture capital firms. A global business builder, investor, and philanthropist, Ash has spent over 30 years at the intersection of technology and venture capital, mentoring entrepreneurs across India and Silicon Valley. He is credited as a pioneer of venture capital in India and was an early backer of category-defining companies including PayTM, Shaadi.com, Sula Vineyards, and Veeba. Previously, he founded and led SVB Global for Silicon Valley Bank, expanding operations across major global markets. Ash is also deeply engaged in philanthropy, the arts, and foundation work.
Robert Chatwani
President & General Manager, Growth, DocuSign
Robert leads DocuSign’s newly created Marketing & Growth organization to scale its digital strategy across marketing, product, technology and sales. Robert will be responsible for DocuSign’s product-led growth and execution, encompassing growth product and engineering teams, related data analytics, and all marketing and operations teams focused on digital expansion, demand generation and lead qualification. He will also lead all CMO functions, including product marketing, field marketing, communications and public relations, content, creative and brand strategy.
Robert most recently served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Atlassian, a SaaS industry leader and pioneer in product led growth. He oversaw teams across marketing, brand, communications and data science, and worked with the product organization to help scale Atlassian’s business to nearly $3B in revenue. Prior to Atlassian, Robert served as Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer for social e-commerce platform Spring. He also spent more than a decade at eBay, ending his tenure as CMO of North America where his teams supported $35 billion in annual trading volume.
Jerry Porter
Retired Chief R&D and Innovation Officer, Procter & Gamble F&HC
Jerry Porter is a retired inspirational leader with a distinguished 35+ year career at P&G, creating sustainable innovation in Europe, the U.S., and Asia across multiple consumer goods categories—from assembled paper products and laundry to household cleaning and prestige beauty brands. Experience spans innovation strategy development, external supplier relationships development, growth portfolio and risk management, and lean innovation growth strategies. His technical platforms have resulted in competitive advantage for P&G.
Since 2020, he has served as Chief R&D and Innovation Officer, Fabric & Home Care, Flavors & Fragrance, working with iconic brands such as Tide, Downy, and Gain to improve the everyday lives of consumers. He leads the materials innovation strategy for the Fabric & Home Care business worth $28B, accounting for 35% of P&G net sales. He is also the Executive R&D leader for Flavors & Fragrance and chemicals for P&G, the world’s largest user of fragrances. He leads recruiting for R&D and serves as the R&D Executive for the P&G African American Leadership Network.
Jerry has demonstrated success in leading and operating global organizations and working with external regulatory bodies. He is a decisive leader and consistent high performer with flexibility, commitment, and optimism—enabling organizations to win in the near and long term.
Greg Archibald
Greg Archibald, Vice President of Global Ad Sales, PayPal
Greg Archibald is Vice President of Global Ad Sales at PayPal, where he leads the global organization responsible for building and scaling PayPal’s differentiated commerce media platform. In this role, Greg brings together one of the world’s most trusted payments ecosystems with the power of real transaction data to help brands and agencies connect with consumers in meaningful, privacy-first ways—unlocking new value for merchants, marketers, and PayPal’s global audience.
Prior to PayPal, Greg served as General Manager and Senior Vice President of Sales for the Americas at Teads, overseeing all agency and brand demand across the region. There, he drove revenue growth, product adoption, and long-term partnerships for Teads’ high-impact brand and performance advertising solutions. Previously, Greg was Senior Vice President of Americas Media at InMobi, where he led all revenue operations, including strategic planning, budgeting, and national sales execution. His career also includes senior leadership roles at Criteo, NinthDecimal, Datalogix/Oracle, and Yahoo.
Outside of work, Greg is passionate about mentoring the next generation of sales leaders. He began his career as a U.S. Navy pilot, serving for over nine years, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona.
